Resolve Common PC Errors
In this guide, we will describe some of the possible reasons that may cause the voyage Linux kernel to fire, and then I will provide possible solutions to this problem.
About Voyage Linux
Voyage Linux is a Debian based partition that runs best on powerful x86 embedded platforms such as PC Engines ALIX/WRAP, Soekris 45xx/48xx/65xx and Atom based boards.
It can also run on low cost x86 PC platforms. A typical installation should have a 256 MB hard drive, although the disk space is larger and more packages can be downloaded. Voyage Linux is so small that it is best suited to power a complete firewall, wireless access point, Asterisk/VoIP gateway, interactive music or player.
- "Voyage is an extremely lightweight Debian Linux... With Voyage, the entire Debian world is available to you as the owner, so you can easily customize your organization's hardware with a small footprint."
-- Carla Schroeder, author of All Linux Cookbook Networks [source]
With the exception of Voyage MuBox, all models are supplied as a distribution kit, and Live CD - in the i386 architecture. The AMD64 framework is only available for Voyage Linux. We alsowe offer an SDK that simplifies the configuration of Voyage Linux.
To further expand the use of Voyage Linux, the Voyage Linux community is currently looking for generous sponsorship donations, and in combination with x86 embedded cards and USB Audio Class 2 DAC/audio converters. If individuals are hardware vendors or if your customers request Voyage support Linux in your hardware, you must send us your hardware for certification and testing.
